Raising Awarenes of Current Goalkeeping Needs
The Academy Rules :
The Academy has been set up to develop each and every goalkeeper who attends and hopefully to provide them all with guidance for playing at the highest possible level.
The Academy MUST point out to all players, parents/guardians that discipline is essential whilst attending each session. The emphasis will always be on learning and fun but also on hard work and, most importantly, safety within the group. The coaches are there to help and every player must listen to what the coaches are teaching them.
Goalkeeping is a Specialist position and it is very important that all players develop sound techniques in all its disciplines.
The Academy has a policy in place which is not only designed to encourage discipline, but also SAFETY. Please read below.
Three Strikes
Every player will have three strikes.
- Strike 1 - will be a warning and he/she will have a green mark against them.
- Strike 2 - will be a warning but the player will also will be taken aside and spoken to with their parents/guardians. He/she will have a yellow mark against them.
- Strike 3 - he/she will be asked to leave the Academy with any outstanding monies being returned to the parents/guardians.
