The Academy

Colin set-up the Academy in August 2005 after coaching goalkeepers in the Aberdeen area since 1999.

The Academy provides Specialist Goalkeeping Coaching for goalkeepers between the ages of 7 - 20 years and we now have over 86 goalkeepers from different Boys Clubs & Schools between Montrose and Fraserburgh. We have set-up links with Professional Clubs and with the standard of goalkeepers we have within the Academy we hope to give our goalkeepers the chance to play at the highest possible level.

All Coaching Staff are Disclosure Scotland Approved.

Our Aim is to :

- Ensure a high standard of coaching.
- Raise Goalkeeping standards and profile.
- Focus on individual needs.
- Advise in Nutrition.
- Always have the emphasis on learning and fun, based on hard, but enjoyable work.

Our Objective :
Not every Goalkeeper is going to be good enough to play for a big club, so we want to help each and every goalkeeper to develop within their capabilities and get them ready to play at the highest possible level they can achieve.

The Academy is NOT connected to any Football Club. It is an independent organisation and will work together with any interested clubs or individual players.
